After the great success of the previous year, the second prank follows on January 31st: The federal sports organization Sport Austria, the Austrian Tennis Association and the Upper Austria Ladies Linz are asking again as part of the WTA 500 event, the traditional ladies tennis tournament in Linz to the cross-sport FE&MALE Sports Conference – Advantage Ladies.
Does talent depend on gender? What can be done to get more girls into sports? How do women’s careers progress in sports organizations? And: Is there a need for a new masculinity in sport? Questions like these will be raised and discussed at the FE&MALE Sports Conference. Through speakers at the highest international level.
Under the motto “Better together”, after the welcoming words of Austria’s sports leader, Sport Austria President Hans Niessl, Andrea Petkovic, former ninth in the world rankings in tennis, now TV presenter and best-selling author, geneticist Univ.-Prof. Mag. Markus Hengstschläger, Women’s Minister Susanne Raab, Upper Austria Ladies Linz tournament ambassador Barbara Schett-Eagle, ORF journalist Karoline Rath-Zobernig, volleyball manager Gottfried Rath-Zobernig and Claudia Koller, managing director of 100% SPORT and the vera trust * Sports. Moderator Alina Zellhofer will guide you through the informative and exciting day. On the part of the Austrian Tennis Association, Vice President Stephanie Bonner, sports coordinator and Billie Jean King Cup captain Marion Maruska will also give speeches, as well as President Martin Ohneberg and Managing Director for Economic Affairs Thomas Schweda, among others.
