The police arrested a man with the initials BR (36), the perpetrator rapist a woman with the initials F (25) who was found in a condition covered in wounds on the edge of the Jakarta-Tangerang toll road. The police also named BR as a suspect.
“On Friday, February 10, at around 08.30 WIB, the perpetrator or suspect was arrested by a team from Resmob Polda Metro Jaya, for the investigation process,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters at Ecovention Hall Ancol, North Jakarta, Saturday (11/2/2023).
Trunoyudo said that currently BR was still being investigated by investigators and investigating the motives of the perpetrators. Later the police will check the urine of the perpetrator BR. Trunoyudo said that he was studying the profile and motives of the perpetrators.
“The motive and profile are still being investigated,” he said.
“Including (also) whether (the perpetrator) has done the same thing, we are still exploring it and the process of further examination,” he continued.
Previously, F was found by a highway patrol officer (PJR) at Km 25 of the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road. The victim admitted that she was raped and then dumped on the side of the toll road.
Main Head of PJR Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road Kompol Suwito revealed that the victim was found on Thursday (9/2) at around 04.50 WIB. The victim asked for help when officers approached him.
“The Highway Patrol (PJR) carried out active patrols from Km 21 to 26 A. Arriving at the TKP Km 25 A the victim approached, a woman asked the officer for help, suspected of abuse and rape,” said Main Head of PJR Tangerang-Jakarta Toll Road Kompol Suwito in statement to journalists, Friday (10/2/2023).
“Yes, her confession was like that (claiming to be raped),” added Suwito.
Next, the PJR officer contacted the Jasa Marga patrol. The victim was then taken by an ambulance to Hermina Bitung Hospital, Tangerang.
When contacted separately, Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih, revealed that the victim was suspected of being abused. There were several bruises on the victim’s body.
“The victim suffered bruises on the cheek under the left eye, abrasions on the right and left legs and knees,” said Galih.
Galih said the victim was currently being treated at the hospital. The victim’s confession was that he was taken by a man he knew, then dumped in the bushes on the side of the toll road.
“The victim was taken through bushes along the side of the toll road,” said Galih.
While with the perpetrator, the victim asked to go home to make the perpetrator emotional. The perpetrator then abused and after that the victim left.
“Along the way the victim whined or grumbled to ask to go home, until finally the perpetrator felt angry and irritated. Then the perpetrator began to abuse the victim by hitting the victim and choking the victim,” he explained.
