The video of the scandalous activist Valentin Jeremejev received widespread attention on social networks last day. It summarizes most of the already heard conspiracy theories about Covid-19. Only this time it is a person who is enrolled as a doctor and an employee of Riga East Clinical University Hospital (RAKUS). The medical institution dissociates itself from the statements made in the video and calls them complete fabrications.
In the more than half-hour-long video, paramedic Marina Kornatovska mostly recounts the “classic” of conspiracy theories that have been heard many times – Covid-19 is fictional, statistics on infected people are fake, hospital overcrowding is a myth, and unimplemented vaccines are actually deadly. Paramedic intervenes until doctors in the hospital deliberately harm pneumonia patients.
“In the treatment given to patients with pneumonia, the treatment algorithm is suspicious and incomprehensible. I see a different clinical picture, but I suspect it is not because of viral exacerbations, but because of what is done to patients during treatment,” says Marina. . According to her, an experiment is being made on how to kill or give the impression that a person has been cured.
The day before, the woman had distributed an audio file with other inventions – a hospital for Covid-19 patients was being built in Ķīpsala, but coronovirus vaccines would be deadly.
The only thing that gives these recordings more credibility than another conspiracy video is Marina’s workplace. She is indeed a paramedic at the Oriental Hospital Toxicology and Sepsis Clinic. This is where Covid-19 patients are housed.
The hospital completely isolates itself from what she says and does not even want to comment on such obvious lies and fabrications.
“The hospital is categorically distancing itself from the information expressed on social networks about the treatment of Covid-19 patients in our hospital. There is no need to look for the grain of truth there, because the truth is not there,” RAKUS representative Ilga Namniece emphasized.
The allegations that Marina was fired from the hospital immediately after this interview are also untrue. The incident was discussed at a meeting of the board of the Eastern Hospital on Thursday, but her actions will still be evaluated separately.
“The hospital will report to law enforcement authorities to assess their responsibilities within their competence. Regarding the hospital’s relationship with the employee as an employer, a service investigation will be launched to assess this particular case,” said Eduards Broks, Head of Legal at RAKUS.
Latvian Television tried to contact Marina, but questions on social networks remained unanswered. However, the statements made in the form of her admission have caused a wide resonance on social networks. RAKUS doctors have also received threats in their direction.
“We have come this way. Of course, it is not pleasant to receive such threatening letters with very bad wishes. Especially at this time, when doctors are doing everything possible,” Namniece stressed.
The hospital will compile the threat letters received and consult with lawyers about the possibility of contacting law enforcement agencies.
