Suddenly the brightly painted walls in front of the stage are pushed to the sides, revealing the backdrop. Records hang from the ceiling, some of them attached to the burgundy back wall. 52 musicians in their turquoise vests sit in front of this stage set. They belong to Feldmusik Allenwinden, which plays the first notes of the piece “Call Of Heroes” by Michael Geisler. This is how the 2024 annual concert begins.
