Feijo, “very attentive” to “some movement” in the PSOE, claims to bring Sánchez’s judicial reforms to the TC and the EU

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, 9 (PRESS EUROPE)

The president of the PP, Alberto Nez Feijo, proposes to “defend the state” through appeals of unconstitutionality and asks the European Union for “protection” against the legislative reforms of the central government “while retaining the parliamentary majority”. Of course, he warned that the People’s Party will be “very attentive to any movements” in the PSOE.

This was warned by the leader of the Spanish opposition in an act in Santiago de Compostela for the presentation of the book ‘A propósito de Feijo’, written by the Xos political scientist Luis Barreiro Rivas, held this Friday, the same day on which both Vox and Citizens ask that presents a motion of censure in the face of the penal code reforms being drafted in Congress and the reductions of the majority to choose the magistrates of the Constitutional Court.

Although he did not make a direct allusion to this affair, the president of the PP insisted that by observing the socialist ranks, some reforms would be addressed which make Sánchez, in his opinion, the “most authoritarian president of Spanish democracy”.

Feijo concluded his speech by guaranteeing that he “has nothing to do with Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejn”. “Whoever wants ten years of Spain upside down can continue in the independence or Sanchista vote and whoever wants to place a servant of Spain and the majority of the Spaniards can elect a certain Feijo”, he ruled.

In addition to Feijo and Barreiro Rivas, the event was attended by the president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, author of the book’s prologue, and the director of the Nobel Editions, Ana de la Calle.
