CONAKRY- Better late than never, they say. And this adage fits perfectly with the crisis that has been undermining Guinean football for years. After a chaotic day marked by a reversal of the situation in the negotiation room, the statutory members, the standardization committee and the Primature finally found a point of agreement this afternoon at the end of the long meeting which was held in a hotel in Conakry.
After an initial disagreement on a part of the articles proposed by CONOR, the stakeholders now conjugate the same verb. The Guinean Prime Minister Doctor Bernard Goumou said he was satisfied with this outcome found between the actors of Guinean football.
« Today, I am very satisfied with your magnanimity. A few months ago our football was blocked. We come to the end of our efforts but we have finally found a consensus, in the resolution of this crisis. announces the PM, head of the Guinean government. It should be noted that this meeting took place in the presence of special envoys from FIFA and CAF who welcomed this agreement between these different actors.
The standardization committee should therefore communicate in the coming days, a date for the holding of the Extraordinary General Assembly for the adoption of the new statutes which will lead to the election of a new management team at the head of the Guinean Federation of Soccer. Local football now unites for its development. And so much the better.
