CONAKRY- This is the first strong decision taken by the new President of the Guinean Football Federation Aboubacar Sampil. He has just rehabilitated the Dutch firm Masita as the new equipment supplier for Syli National. Masita had seen his contract canceled by the former CONOR, a decision which surprised the managers of this equipment manufacturer who had also filed a complaint against Guinea to FIFA for “unilateral” breach of contract.
It’s now done, Syli will once again wear Masita’s jerseys. Given that all the jerseys are already validated by CAF a few days before the start of CAN 2023, Puma should continue to supply the jerseys to Syli. But after this competition, it will be over for Puma. Moreover, Guinea unfortunately purchases its equipment with this equipment manufacturer, something denounced by several observers.
