CONAKRY- We are moving towards the end of the mandate of the standardization committee installed since 2021 at the head of the Guinean football federation. This Saturday, September 2, the electoral commission responsible for steering the elections of next November was set up by the statutory members. Of the 69 delegates convened, all were present in the room and at the end of the votes, it was the lawyer Abdoul Karim Diaby who obtained the most votes (64 out of 69) and was therefore elected new president of the electoral commission of Feguifoot.
This new electoral commission is composed in particular of a President, a vice-president and 3 members. For the electoral commission of appeal, it is composed of only 3 members (1 president, 1 vice-president and 1 member). It should be noted that the election of the electoral commission and the electoral commission of appeal took place in Conakry under the supervision of Jean Jacques Diéne, head of the office of the Secretary General of the African Football Confederation who welcomed the establishment of these two committees. The electoral commission will conduct the elections next November, to elect a new executive office at the head of the Guinean Football Federation, thus ending the mandate of the normalization committee.
