CONAKRY- While the meeting was to take place between Prime Minister Doctor Bernad Goumou and the four candidates for the presidency of the Guinean football federation, it will not take place at the previously indicated time. If the candidates were already early in the morning at the prime minister’s office for this meeting which was scheduled for noon, they are obliged to wait again.
The interview will finally take place at 6 p.m., still at the prime minister’s office. Would the authorities seek to cross-check all the information before these exchanges? Especially since we learned that FIFA would watch things from a distance and threaten to sanction Guinea in the event of interference from the executive. In any case, all eyes are on the Prime Minister to know what will really come out of these exchanges between the Prime Minister and the applicants. The PM would seek to discuss and find a solution, reaching consensus, something which according to several observers, would violate the statutes which govern the Guinean Football Federation.
