CONAKRY- The candidates for the presidency of the future Guinean football federation were received this Friday at the presidency of the Republic of Guinea. The objective of this umpteenth meeting convened by the senior authorities of the transition was to discuss and listen to each of the contenders.
Present at this meeting were: Bouba Sampil, Mathurin Bangoura, Almamy Saïdou Sylla, Morlaye Soumah Kolovati representing the candidate Abdoul Karim Bangoura AKB, as well as Lancinet Kabassan Keita, the Secretary General of Feguifoot. It was General Amara Camara, Secretary General of the Presidency alongside Minister Djiba Diakité who received these officials, in the presence of Sports Minister Lansana Béa Diallo. The debates focused on the crisis in the federation and ways to find a solution, and General Amara Camara invited everyone to prioritize the interests of Guinean football. He invited the actors to respect the content of the letter from FIFA which validated the choice of January 6 for the holding of the elective congress, without Mathurin Bangoura, disqualified by the appeals committee.
