CONAKRY– It is a resignation which comes a few days before the elective congress which will appoint the future executive committee of the Guinean football federation. Abdoulaye Bangoura, member of the electoral commission, has just submitted his letter of resignation. A departure which should not slow down the holding of elections to FEGUIFOOT.
« I hereby inform you of my resignation as a member of the electoral commission of the Guinean football federation, a position that I have held since September 2, 2023, following the Extraordinary General Assembly of Feguifoot. I would like to thank all the commissioners for their dedication to providing the federation with a new executive committee.” announces Abdoulaye Bangoura, now a former member of the said commission, who did not give the real reason for his departure.
Despite this resignation, the elective congress will indeed take place on January 6, 2024 in Conakry, an election at the end of which a new executive office will be officially elected, if a quorum is reached, because the G47 chaired by the disqualified candidate Mathurin Bangoura , threatens to boycott this Assembly again.
