Three teenagers in Bogor shot Member of the Mobile Brigade. The three teenagers were suspected of being robbers for carrying a scythe while wandering around and considered disturbing local residents.
Bogor City AKBP Deputy Police Chief Ferdy Irawan explained that the shooting began when the three teenagers were traveling by motorbike in the Ciparigi area, wielding scythes. The three teenagers were also yelled at by the locals.

“So there were 3 warning shots, because they were not heard or ignored, then the Brimob members fired targeted shots at the alleged perpetrator, because they were considered to be a person endangering the safety of local residents,” he said. Ferdy.
“The reason he (the member) fired was because he faced such a situation and gave a warning but the perpetrators ignored it,” he added.
After carrying out the shooting, Brimob’s member immediately coordinated with the North Bogor police. The three gun-toting boys were immediately taken into custody and taken to hospital.
“As for the Brimob members who carried out the shooting, they immediately reported to their unit at the Pioneer II regiment, Kedung Halang,” Ferdy said.
