During last night’s Nintendo Direct, another new Metroid Dreadtrailer was shown where we could once again feel the atmosphere from the game. Tension rises when Samus must dodge the EMMI using all her skills.
In this new installment, Samus is sent to a planet where the parasite X still appears to exist, despite being thought to have been wiped out. Because she is the only one with Metroid DNA and thus able to handle this parasite, she can do the job on her own. She soon finds out that the Chozo, the civilization to which she owes her Power Suit, also appears to be alive, but it is extremely hostile to her. We will find out exactly how this all works when the game is released for the Nintendo Switch on October 8.
