Colon cancer can be characterized by a lump on the right side of the abdomen.

Other than that, there are other signs to watch out for. According to Cancer Research UK, one such symptom is a lump on the right side of the abdomen.
“A lump that the doctor may feel in the back or abdomen, most often on the right side,” says Cancer Research UK, as reported by the page SqueezeThursday (12/15/2022).
Other symptoms of bowel cancer This includes rectal bleeding or blood in the stool. Other symptoms are changes in your normal bowel habits, such as looser bowel movements, more frequent bowel movements, or constipation.
Not only that, but another symptom is a feeling of needing to strain, like you need to have a bowel movement, even after you have a bowel movement. Colon cancer sufferers may also experience weight loss, pain in the abdomen or around the anus. If you experience these symptoms, it’s a good idea to visit a general practitioner.
“You should see a doctor if you notice any abnormal changes or if there are possible signs and symptoms of cancer,” the charity said.
Even if you are concerned about your symptoms, don’t delay in getting them checked. Cancer Research UK reminds you that your worries may not go away if you don’t check out.
Symptoms may not be due to cancer. But if that’s true, the sooner it’s taken, the better the chances of treatment success. Your doctor may then need to examine you and possibly do tests, including blood tests.
