The Lignorama Wood and Tool Museum is showing the “Sound Tree” exhibition up to and including Sunday, August 15. Up to four meters high wooden sculptures by Peter Voglsperger and meditative prints by Gerlinde Bogner play together harmoniously.
A three-meter-long, hollowed-out linden trunk with a diameter of one and a half meters is the focus of the large and high exhibition room in the Lignorama in Riedau. The unique thing about it is that it is not just a sculpture, but also a musical instrument. Due to its size, you can sit down in this unusual stringed instrument and feel the sounds.
Gerlinde Bogner from Lambrechte shows a cross-section of her graphic art. She works in different gravure printing techniques, and her unconventional and experimental way of working is particularly impressive. Her works are reduced to linear and geometric basic forms and radiate something meditative, sometimes they appear archaic, sometimes they surprise with playful approaches.
According to the current status, no masks or 3G certificates are required in museums.
