Therefore, a diverse audience gathered in front of the stage: everything from leather to jeans to glitter jackets was there.
Shortly before the concert began, however, many visitors had to wait in front of the entrance. The organizers had quickly canceled entry from 4:30pm to 6pm due to a bad weather warning. The crowd could only push its way to the site little by little.
But when the singer entered the stage at 8:15 pm with the words “Can I introduce myself? I’m Robbie f*cking Williams!”, perhaps the big -some people have forgotten the biggest frustration with the first chaos.
Of course, the former boy band star began the evening appropriately with the song “Let Me Entertain You”.
Not only did Robbie’s biggest hits, such as “Feel” or “Rock DJ”, follow, but also a lot of discussion about his life story, which most people would have already known: the rapid rise and deep fall with “Take That”, alcohol – and too many drugs. He is now the proud father of four children and has been married to Ayda Fields (45) for 18 years. “And I’m happier today than I’ve ever been in my life!” pressured the British.
He also made the fans in the front row happy that evening: Robbie again fell into the arms of his female audience from the stage pit, gave out T-shirts and even exchanged bracelets by an onlooker: “I feel like Taylor Swift mocked the pop star, before dedicating his important song “She’s The One” to Bianca – also from the front row, of course.
On Thursday the singer decided to do it Already the leader of the Green Party Jenny Jasberg (41), who gave him a kiss on the cheek and then listened to his lines, visibly moved.
At the end of the almost two-hour concert, Robbie Williams disappeared from the stage without a big bang on Friday, while the audience was still in each other’s arms and singing “Angels” capella – again and again.
