Charlotte, NC.- The therapeutic singer Ana Lucía Divins, accompanied by the musicians of Café Amaretto, are sharing a repertoire of songs in which they will connect with the public with their feelings, hopes and dreams.
“Feel it with Music” is part of the ‘Culture Blocks’ program, managed by the Arts and Science Council seeking to carry out cultural and art activities to the community in specific areas of the city, and is free thanks to the sponsorship of the County of Mecklenburg.
WHAT IT OFFERS
The program started with a virtual concert presented on Facebook on April 28 and will continue with other activities until June.
“Sientelo con Música” will continue on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 pm with a music workshop in Spanish through the Zoom platform and another bilingual one, on May 19 at the same time. In them, the participants will be able to interact with the artists, enjoy their music, share stories and feelings that will inspire the artists to create new songs.
The program will conclude with a free outdoor concert open to the public on Saturday, June 11 at 5:30 pm at Pineville Lake Park (909 Lakeview Drive, Pineville, NC, 28134). During this concert, the Latin group Café Amaretto will sing various songs from their repertoire and share some of their new songs inspired by the participants in the musical workshops.
