“There are more than 55 thousand people who are registered in the security groups through WhatsApp, and on many occasions, the neighbors are the ones who send us photos or videos of meetings when an extraordinary situation arises, such as this type of meeting in very small houses, where a healthy distance cannot be guaranteed ”, said the official.
He acknowledged that unfortunately, in most cases, the information about the meetings is handled in private groups, a situation that makes it difficult for the authority to find out about these parties that allows them to act preventively.
“These types of actions are attended by the Civil Protection authorities, who attend these meetings to verify that the regulations that have been set in the health contingency are being met and can request the support of the municipal police or reaction groups. in case it is merited and the organizers ”, explained the Public Security Commissioner of Saltillo.
