The return of Roger Federer the tennis courts are getting closer and closer. The Swiss champion was due to a knee injury in the Australian Open 2020 stopped for more than a year and played his last official game in Melbourne in the semi-finals Novak Djokovic.

ATP participant list: Roger Federer also present in Miami
After these two tournaments it is still unclear what the schedule of the 20-time Grand Slam champion will look like, but an important update is coming straight from Miami.
The organizers of the Masters 1000 event actually published the list of tournament participants and Roger Federers is one of the names. There will be a lot of innovations this year for Miami players to face.
Initially, the tournament organizers thought of building some sort of bubble so that players could take part in the first Masters 1000 of 2021. There will also be a significant reduction in the total prize pool, which is projected to be approximately $ 6.68 million.
The last big news concerns the public: The US tournament hopes to welcome the spectators back, albeit in limited numbers. In addition to Federer, all the best tennis players for the tournament are registered in the list of participants.
Djokovic’s condition needs to be checked. After winning the Australian Open for the ninth time in his career, he spoke about his injury and stated that it would take him some time to recover 100%.
