Federation Fan Loses Finger in Accident at Al-Jawhara Stadium: Hisham Khaled Shares Details

Al-Marsad Newspaper: A federation fan named “Hisham Khaled” narrated the details of the amputation of his “finger” after he was involved in an accident in front of Al-Jawhara Stadium in Jeddah, while he was going to watch the last coronation match between “Al-Ittihad and Al-Tai”.

Hisham said in a video clip: The incident happened on 11/11/1444, in the Al-Ittihad and Al-Ta’i match in the final coronation.

And he continued: The accident occurred at 8:30 pm, due to a large stampede from the audience at Al-Jawhara Stadium, and I was close to the gate, and when the gate toppled, it landed on my toe.

And he continued, the ambulance started the case and did the necessary, and I was directed to the King Abdullah Medical Complex, and I went in my private car, and the ambulance did not pick me up.

He pointed out that the King Abdullah complex did the necessary, and he transferred himself to the Saudi German Hospital, where the finger amputation operation was performed, at dawn on Friday, and praise be to God in any case.

For his part, his friend expressed his anger, saying: I went with Hisham to the stadium, and unfortunately, an hour and a half before the match, the gate was closed, but I was able to enter while he remained outside.

He added: The problem is not here. The problem is that because of the delay, this is what happened.. But who bears the responsibility, neither the management of a stadium nor the management of a federation asked about it.
