Your mission: to operate and further develop the Swiss command network, the army’s network infrastructure and the Swiss security network. Your tasks
- Monitor, operate and expand the network infrastructures and services of the Swiss command network
- Responsible for capacity and lifecycle management of assigned services
- Further develop and introduce existing network infrastructures and services within the Swiss Command Network and the Swiss Security Network
- Support and advise the network operator or its customers regarding current and future capabilities of the Swiss Army’s network infrastructure
- On call during army operations and maintenance work outside regular working hours
Your profile
- Completed studies at a technical college or university and work experience in the telecommunications environment
- Proven and proven experience in the operation, provision and development of network services as well as good and diversified knowledge of telecommunications technologies (OSS, NMS, IPv4/v6, MPLS-IP/TP, SRv6, DWDM, OTH and microwave radio)
- Additional IT expertise (platform, DB, RADIUS, AD, Linux, Windows) is explicitly desired
- Strong logical-abstract and analytical thinking skills as well as a quick grasp of things
- Willingness to take responsibility, coupled with forward-looking thinking and action
