This May 10, the federal government concluded the health emergency due to Covid-19, according to the decree of the Official Gazette of the Federation in its evening edition last tuesday.
Although the decree establishes that the public institutions of the National Health System must continue with the actions for the prevention, control and mitigation of the disease, in adherence to the long-term management for the control of Covid-19.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health will be obliged to integrate immunization against the SARS-CoV-2 virus into the universal vaccination program.
The purchases of goods and services that have been made on the date of entry into force of the decree and are pending processing, will continue to be executed until its conclusion, indicates the second transitory article of the decree.
The same will happen with the authorizations issued or requested by the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris) under the decrees and agreements issued on priority care for the pandemic.
