Fede Alvarez to Lead 12 States for Lionsgate | Africadaidly

According to reports from the Hollywood Reporter, the director Alvarez faith (The House) has been chosen by Lionsgate to direct 12 states, a thriller set during a zombie pandemic.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (Focus – Nothing is as it seems, Jungle Cruise) wrote the script for the project which takes place during an epidemic of zombies and follows in particular the story of a mother who tries to join her girl.

Roy Lee and Miri Yoon of Vertigo Entertainment will produce the feature film with Requa, Ficarra and Charlie Gogolak. Among the producers there will also be Álvarez, Shintaro Shimosawa and Rodolfo Sayagues with Bad Hombre.

Faith Alvarez leads new horror project at the White House

Alvarez’s most recent projects include the remake of La Casa (Evil Dead), Man in the Dark (2016) and Millennium – The One Who Doesn’t Kill (2018) with Claire Foy. The director, remember, is still connected to a new Labyrinth film. Alvarez should also direct a new horror written by Joe Epstein and described as “a brilliant set at the White House”.
