NCP has asked Interpol to publish red notice on the suspect in the bribery case of interim replacement of members of the DPR RI, Aaron Days. However, the seriousness of the KPK leadership in hunting down Harun Masiku was questioned by a former KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah.
At first, Febri talked about the letter that the KPK sent to Interpol Indonesia’s National Central Bureau (NCB) for publication red notice against Harun Masiku on Monday, May 31, 2021. In fact, he said, Harun Masiku has been on the wanted list (DPO) since January 27, 2020.
“This is what is called a serious search for fugitives? What is the story of the new KPK with Harun Masiku?,” Febri asked in a tweet on the Twitter account @febridiansyah, Thursday (3/6/2021).
Febri is not without reason to question the seriousness of the KPK leadership in hunting Aaron Days now. Because, Harun Masiku has been a fugitive for 1 year and 4 months. Febri brought up a number of irregularities, such as the polemic of the national insight test (TWK) which ‘removed’ KPK employees who were considered to be working well.
“Investigators who were included in the OTT team were replaced by others who were investigated, something that rarely happens. The investigators are now being removed through the TWK,” he said.
“Meanwhile, Kompol Rosa, an investigator from the National Police who was also on the OTT team of the KPU commissioner at that time, was returned to the Police,” he added.
He said that the National Police at that time refused, considering Kompol Rosa’s long tenure at the KPK. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) staff also reported the KPK leadership who was suspected of arbitrarily in returning Kompol Rosa to the Police to the Supervisory Board.
“Until now, there has been no trial or sanction given by the KPK Council to the leadership. Meanwhile, Harun Masiku is nowhere to be found,” he said.
