According to a document for developers in the network, in the console, code-named Lockhart, only 7.5 GB of RAM will be available for games against 13.5 GB in the Xbox Series X. In addition, the budget adapter’s performance will be three times lower. than the older: 4 teraflops versus 12 teraflops.

This situation will naturally affect the final resolution: the Xbox Series S will not support 4K resolution, the maximum for it will be 2K (1440p) and Full HD (1080p) modes. According to recent leaks, Microsoft will launch the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X at the same time – at the end of 2020.
