Loyalty cannot be blind and has always been conditional! We cannot speak of infidelity when we are no longer in agreement with the opinions, the goals, the values of others.
When you no longer share the same ideas, you have to show your loyalty by being frank. Because honesty done with dignity always means respecting people when opinions diverge!
