So far 15 people have been arrested in the case. There is one more to catch. The Twenty20 group alleges that the arrests were made in trivial terms.
Twenty20 Chief Coordinator Sabu M. Jacob alleged that the station had released the accused on bail in the presence of a CPM leader. Sabu said that despite the High Court order, the police did not provide adequate security to their activists on polling day. In Kummanode ward, the CPM independent candidate contested against Twenty20 with the support of the UDF.
