MARC Marquez blaming Repsol Honda after crash in free practice two MotoGP Netherlands 2021, which will be held at the Assen Circuit, Friday, June 25, 2021, at night WIB. The Baby Alien -the nickname of Marc Marquez- appealed to Honda to immediately improve in order to save the lives of its drivers.
The six-time world champion in the MotoGP class fell at corner 10 of the Assen Circuit. When passing corner 10 of the Assen Circuit, Marc Marquez’s motorbike suddenly changed direction and made The Baby Alien bounce into the air. When it fell to the asphalt, Marc Marquez’s hands became the focus.
Lucky, Marc Marquez not seriously injured. Marc Marquez’s right arm, which had suffered an injury throughout the 2020 MotoGP, did not relapse.
“It was a strange accident because I didn’t think that I crossed the line and I rode my bike like in the morning (first free practice session), to find my limit and what way to follow,” said Marc Marquez quoting from Crash, Saturday (26/6/2021).
“I raced well, Right, I pushed hard in some parts of the circuit. However, in that corner (10) I did the same as Joan Mir, even slower.
“I encourage HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) to improve, because we can’t keep having accidents like this. There is a problem with the bike, and we have to understand it for the future. However, the future does not mean next year, but this year. We need something more secure. If we don’t, we will not gain confidence again because racing is not safe,” said Marc Marquez.
