Fear of Apple Headphone Failure from Within

Although the launch date for Apple’s mixed reality headset is imminent, some company employees believe the device is not ready yet, according to The New York Times. And while some employees reportedly walked out of the project because of their doubts, others remain skeptical about the headset’s viability, especially given its $3,000 price tag.

The company is expected to unveil the headset at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

The New York Times added that skepticism on the part of both employees and Apple’s leadership made some workers wonder if the company would delay the launch of the headset. However, it does not seem that this will happen, as the sources tell the newspaper that the launch of the headphones in June is still going on.

It should be noted that rumors about the headset have been brisk in the past few months, with reports suggesting that it could resemble a pair of ski goggles, and could feature a physical crown that allows users to switch in and out of virtual reality, with a physical battery pack that fits in a pocket.
