The U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA approved the emergency use of the Corona 19 vaccine developed by the pharmaceutical company Modena on the 18th local time.
The United States is the first country in which Modena vaccine has been approved by health authorities, and the United States is able to obtain a second vaccine after Pfizer Bioentech’s vaccine.
The vaccine can be distributed once FDA approval is issued, but vaccination requires an acceptance signature from the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and CDC.
Anthony Pouch, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, predicts that the vaccination will begin early next week.
Modena vaccine was effective in preventing 94.1% in clinical trials involving 30,000 people.
