FCNT announces the latest model of “Rakuraku Smartphone”, Docomo Ymobile SIM free

FCNT has announced two latest models of “Rakuraku Smartphone” which are mainly aimed at senior citizens.

NTT Docomo’s new model, the Raku-Raku Smartphone F-53E, will be released at the end of January 2025, while Ymobile’s new model, the Raku-Raku Smartphone A, will be released on November 7. In addition, the SIM-free “Rakuraku Smartphone Lite MR01” has been announced, and will be released on December 6, as well as at Docomo Stores nationwide from early December onwards.

The Ymobile version has the same specs as the SIM-free version.

Easy smartphone F-53E

NTT Docomo’s new model, the Raku-Raku Smartphone F-53E, is the first new model in three years since the Raku-Raku Smartphone F-52 B, released in February 2022. It uses an EL display high-brightness organic about 5.4-inch. In addition to “UD Shinmarugo”, “UD Reimin” can now be used as a font.

As is typical of the Rakuraku series, several functions on the home screen are arranged in large tiles, an operating system that allows you to press instead of tapping, and features such as “Matching Voice , “Mask Call Mode,” and “Slow Voice” to make it easier to hear calls.

The camera sensor uses Sony’s “IMX882” with 50.3 million pixels. It is also equipped with an ultra-wide camera with approximately 8 million pixels. Equipped with optical image stabilization, AI scene recognition, etc.

Color variations are pink, gold, and navy. The chipset is Qualcomm’s “Snapdragon 6 Gen 3”. Memory is 4GB and storage is 128GB. Waterproof and dust-proof, biometric (face/fingerprint) authentication

The “Rakuraku Smartphone a”, which will be released as a Ymobile version on November 7th, and the SIM-free version, “Rakuraku Smartphone Lite MR01”, which will be released on December 6th, have the same specifications.

Ymobile version has preorders like PayPay

It has a 6.1-inch display, a 50.1-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The chipset is MediaTek Dimensity 7025, the memory is 4GB, and the storage is 64GB. It is waterproof and dustproof and supports biometric authentication (face/fingerprint).

There are color variations like magenta, gold, and deep blue.
