FCL Arts Martiaux Rhône Kumite Karate Championships Results: 21 Gold Medals, 4 Silver, 5 Bronze

They returned with 21 gold medals, complemented by four silver and five bronze medals. This is the successful outcome of FCL Arts Martiaux during the last Rhône kumite karate championships, the conventional combat of the discipline. These results are not surprising, given the quality of the group of fighters coached by an efficient teaching team, under the leadership of Dominique Gallo, the sports director.

Back at training, the medalists are delighted with their success. “It’s my first medal,” rejoices Camila, gold medalist, in the pupil category. I am proud of myself. Dom and Julien are great coaches. My strong point is fighting but I need to improve the katas. »

Same satisfaction from Lucas (8 years old) and Nathan (9 years old), two brothers who faced each other in the pupil final. “It was difficult to meet my brother in the final,” Lucas explains. “For me, it was simpler,” smiles Nathan, the winner.”

For Camille, Kenji, Asma and Elsa, the championships ended with happiness and a beautiful gold medal around their necks. “I love karate and the club. I try to exploit all my qualities,” explains Camille. “The competition went very well,” add Kenji and Asma, while Elsa is enjoying, at 12 years old, her seventeenth medal and is already planning on her future competition, the Coupe de France semi-contact.
