[FCGB-MHSC] David Guion: “The victory against Montpellier is fundamental”

David Guion, the Bordeaux coach, was at a press conference before the very important meeting for his team against MHSC on Sunday in their maintenance mission. He mentioned the obligation of victory even if he expects a complicated meeting against a playful team.

“The victory against Montpellier is fundamental. We have to pick it up from us. (…) I understand the state of mind of the supporters. I find them exemplary since my arrival. The players are very sensitive to their encouragement and support. We’re not having a good season, and we don’t have a good ranking. I can hear their legitimate discontent.

The Montpellier team is very well built with experience in all areas: the goalkeeper, Sakho, Ferri, Savanier, Germain and talented young people who show up everywhere. Their squad is very well balanced. It is a bit of a transition season. It is a team with a technical vocation and with a lot of commitment. She is also able to put some play on the sides. One can expect a playful team.“
