FC Zurich Bolsters Sporting Staff with Two Key Additions

FC Zurich has signed two well-known personnel reinforcements in the sporting area.

Ricardo Moniz starts immediately as Head of Player Development. The 59-year-old Dutchman brings many years of experience in international football in various roles. He worked at PSV Eindhoven, Hamburger SV, Tottenham Hotspur and Feyenoord Rotterdam, among others. As head coach of Red Bull Salzburg, he won the Austrian double in 2012. A year later he won the Hungarian Cup with Ferencvaros Budapest. At the FCZ, Ricardo Moniz will work as head of player development and as “coach the coaches”.

Head of training Sascha Milicevic

From December 1, 2023, the 47-year-old Austrian Sascha Milicevic will join FC Zurich as head of training. For the last 18 years he has worked as a junior coach, youth coordinator, individual trainer and as head youth scout at Red Bull Salzburg. Sascha Milicevic will take up the position as head of training at FC Zurich, replacing Heinz Moser, who moved to FC Augsburg, among others.
