FC Twente has not been able to negotiate an option to buy Naci Ünüvar, but the Tukkers will benefit from a future transfer from the Ajax player. That knows RTV East to report.

Twente will rent Ünüvar from Ajax for a season. It’s only a matter of time before the deal is announced. In De Oosttribune, a podcast by RTV Oost, journalist Tijmen van Wissing reveals that Twente has negotiated a resale percentage. “Ünüvar will get by with FC Twente, which has no option to buy. But if he is sold by Ajax, Twente will receive a percentage of it.”
In Amsterdam, Ünüvar still has a contract until mid-2026, after he signed a new contract last year. Last season, the talented attacker annex midfielder was already rented out to Trabzonspor, but that did not lead to success. So far, Ünüvar has played three matches in Ajax’s main force.
