FC Sevilla can look forward to a new man in attack. As the Andalusians officially announce, they have agreed to work with Mariano Diáz (30). The Dominican striker was most recently without a club after his contract with Real Madrid expired this summer.

Diáz had been active for Real since he was young, but was never able to assert himself in the long term. Between 2017 and 2018, the right-footer was under contract with Olympique Lyon and scored there like on an assembly line. This was followed by a return to Real, where Diáz was supposed to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo, who had migrated to Juventus – without success. 84 games and twelve goals are in the jersey of the royal book. In Seville, the experienced attacker should help to forget the messed-up start of the league. After three games, Sevilla are bottom of La Liga without a point.
