FC Seoul Apologizes for Placing Sex Dolls on Stand | NOW

FC Seoul apologized on Monday for the way the stadium was filled on Sunday in a league game. The South Korean club had accidentally put sex dolls in the stands.

Although the dolls in the game against Gwangju FC often had shirts and other fan articles, many supporters on social media immediately noticed that something was not right.

According to FC Seoul, the intention was to fill the stands with normal mannequins and the supplier had assured that they were not sex dolls.

“We wanted to add some fun elements to the game, including dolls that were as real as possible, but we should have checked better ourselves,” the club said.

The organization of the K League, as the South Korean league is called, has not yet responded to the incident at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The K League started over a week ago, after a delay of over two months due to the corona crisis. As in other countries, strict rules apply.
