Marius Müller put on the goalkeeper gloves again during training on Monday (December 5th). The goalkeeper can make a few saves again, but it’s not enough to take part in team training.

Licensed player director Gerald Asamoah quickly made it clear to “WAZ” that Müller would not be celebrating his comeback this year. “We hope that he can be there again at the start of winter preparation,” says Asamoah.

Geraerts has to decide: miller or ferryman?

Müller tore a tendon in his adductor area in the 4-3 win against 1. FC Magedburg in mid-September and has been missing from Schalke since then. Previously, the summer newcomer had somewhat surprisingly earned the place between the posts – also because Ralf Fährmann was missing for a long time due to injury.
