When rumors of FC Red Bull Salzburg’s interest in Emanuel Emegha from SK Sturm first surfaced in May, these were quickly denied by the sporting directors of both teams.
“Bullen” sports director Christoph Freund had to “smile a little” at the rumors brought up by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, while his counterpart Andreas Schicker confirmed that Romano, for once, didn’t have a good network in Austria.
Well Salzburg?
Now Emegha’s departure is becoming more concrete again – the Dutchman has spent the last few days in his home country to discuss his future with his family – and suddenly FC Red Bull Salzburg is said to be a hot topic after all.
As the “Krone” reported, the “Bulls” are among the teams, along with Feyenoord Rotterdam and AS Roma, that are intensively courting the 20-year-old.
Sturm is said to demand a transfer fee of twelve million euros plus resale participation for Emegha.
