Guardian was absent against Rayo Vallecano
Diogo Costa was left out of the FC Porto’s opening match against Rayo Vallecano (1-1) due to muscle fatigue, as reported by the dragons. In a note published through its official website, the club justifies the absence of the usual goalkeeper for Porto and also details that the Brazilian goalkeeper Samuel Portugal expressed an indisposition before the duel played at Estádio do Dragão, in Porto.
João Mário and the Brazilians Gabriel Veron and Evanilson were also left out, who continue to recover from injuries and were the only names present in the clinical bulletin.
