The striker trained at FC Porto leaves on loan and the French reserve a purchase option clause, the value of which is not yet known.
The rapprochement between the parties was advanced by the Gallic newspaper ‘L’Équipe’, thus confirming the information anticipated by our newspaper reporting on FC Porto’s opening to sign the 22-year-old winger.
Gonçalo Borges was part of the game sheet for the classic in Alvalade, but was not used and, since then, he has not been in Sérgio Conceição’s options again. Even so, he was part of the squad for the Bessa derby, ending up watching the draw (1-1) from the stands, as he was not chosen for the game sheet.
This season, the Portuguese under-21 international participated in 14 games and made two assists.
Lille is ranked 5th in the French championship and continues in the Conference League.
