This Friday, FC Porto opened its store at the Colombo Shopping Center, in Lisbon. And on day 1 of its existence, the facilities were visited by several Porto fans from the capital. Ricardo Quaresma, a well-known dragon, was in the shopping mall with his wife when the doors opened and, according to Record witnessed, the new blue and white space momentarily stole his attention, but the former FC Porto player ended up postponing entering the store.
“I’m very happy, they should have opened a long time ago. There are many Porto fans outside of Porto, particularly in Lisbon. I’m very happy and now I’m waiting for a store at the airport [Humberto Delgado, também em Lisboa], which is what is missing so that when we take a plane, especially at a tourist level, we can have our brand there. FC Porto is a universal club and we have long needed a store like this in the capital”, David Martins, one of the fans who visited Colombo’s FC Porto Store, told our newspaper.
“I hadn’t noticed, but Sporting also opened a store opposite… Eventually, at the beginning, it will cause some inconvenience [nos rivais de Lisboa]but for all educated people, whether here or anywhere, there won’t be any kind of problem”, said the said fan further regarding the Porto store being very close to the Estádio da Luz.
This new FC Porto Store is located on the 2nd floor of Colombo, right in front of the Sporting store. It has modern features, reminiscent of a bathhouse and, in these first hours of existence, the billing book has already been opened.
