FC Porto faced Varzim, from Liga 3, this Thursday, beating Poveiros 2-0. André Franco and Galeno scored the goals in the game that took place behind closed doors, at Olival. The training match, the third played by the Dragons in this stop of the competitions, was in preparation for Sunday’s duel, against Sintrense, for the Portuguese Cup. Before that, at the end of last week, the dragons had already trained with Arouca and Amarante, defeating those opponents 2-0 and 4-0, respectively.
To start against Varzim, Vítor Bruno chose the following eleven: Claudio Ramos, Martim Fernandes, Nehuen Pérez, Tiago Djaló, Wendell, Alan Varela, Nico González, Fábio Vieira, Iván Jaime, Gonçalo Borges and Fran Navarro.
In addition, João Mário, Zé Pedro, Otávio, Francisco Moura, Domingos Andrade, Rodrigo Mora, André Franco, Pepê, Galeno, Danny Namaso, Vasco Sousa, Zaidu, Deniz Gül and Samuel Portugal played.
Marko Grujic was also at Olival, but the Serbian international only did recovery training. In the clinical journal of Porto, followed Iván Marcano, in training with conditions, and Zaidu, who did integrated training, but still with some limitations.
