Alan Varela, in turn, cost Porto’s coffers 9.2 million euros, for 100 percent of the pass, with Boca Juniors.

The most curious note in terms of acquisitions has to do with goalkeeper Samuel Portugal. The Brazilian goalkeeper arrived at FC Porto last season, but the Dragons reinforced their hold on the player’s pass and acquired, from Portimonense, another 35 percent of the athlete’s economic rights for 1.5 million euros. This means that FC Porto spent four million euros on acquiring 90 percent of Samuel Portugal’s pass. Note that the guardian has not yet played any game for the dragons in this year and a half.
