Ahead of the final, the City of Nantes has set up a system “so that this match is imprinted in the memory of Nantes”. It includes several ways to highlight the local club and its famous colors: yellow and green. From April 19, a display with portraits of supporters was set up in different places in the city. Flags have been installed in front of the Town Hall, the castle of the Dukes of Brittany and Place Graslin.

Two giant screens
Since Monday evening, the logo of FC Nantes has also been projected on the ramparts of the castle. On the public transport side, a tram train running on line 1 – the one that leads to La Beaujoire – is “fully dressed in the colors of the club”.
Above all, the City of Nantes will install two giant screens at each end of the Saint-Pierre and Saint-André courtyards. This fan zone will be able to accommodate up to 20,000 people. The site will be accessible from Saturday 6 p.m. by four entrances: rue Tournefort, rue Georges Clémenceau, rue Henri IV and rue Chauvin.

Security controle
“Access to the site will be free and controlled with a security device by checking bags and palpation”, says the municipality. It will be impossible to penetrate it with alcohol. In addition, several objects are prohibited inside: dangerous objects, glass objects, hard plastic or stainless steel water bottles, bulky bags, bicycles, bicycle and motorcycle helmets, scooters, strollers.
