FC Nantes. Debut in Monaco, a derby at the end of August… The calendar for the season of the Canaries.

The Professional Football League unveiled this Friday at noon the calendar for the 2021-2022 season of Ligue 1. For FC Nantes, the season will begin with a trip to Monaco and then the reception of Metz, before a derby in Rennes. The return derby will be played on May 8, on Matchday 36.

The resumption of training for FC Nantes will take place on Wednesday, June 30, but the Canaries are already fixed on their agenda for the year. The Professional Football League has just announced the Ligue 1 calendar for the 2021/2022 season.

Nicolas Pallois’s teammates will travel to Monaco to start their Ligue 1 season on the weekend of August 6. The second leg against ASM will also be the first game of the second leg on January 9. For the first home game, Metz will be hosted at La Beaujoire on August 15. Then comes the derby, from the third day, then the reception of the Olympique Lyonnais. The return match against Stade Rennais will be held at the end of the championship, on May 8 (D36).

The FCN will make two perilous trips in mid-November, first to Paris Saint-Germain (D14, November 21) then to the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium of the defending champions, Lille (D15, November 28). In addition, the 16th day will serve as the reception of the Olympique de Marseille (December 1).

The last day of Ligue 1 will oppose FC Nantes to Saint-Etienne, at home.
