A badly chosen date

The Canaries coach said he was dissatisfied with the date chosen for this Coupe de France final. Indeed, the defending champions are still trying to save their skins in Ligue 1 so as not to be demoted to Ligue 2. The one who was also the coach of the TFC believes that a Coupe de France final should only be played once the championships are over.

I don’t know who had this ingenious idea of ​​putting it there… Afterwards, it was also the case last year but we were well placed in the league and we were able to manage, by making sure to have the team as strong as possible for the final. Today, it’s different because we’re playing for the maintenance in the league. We need points.”
