Very expensive purchase Mislintat can leave: club reports to Ajax

FC Metz wants to do everything it can to bring Georges Mikautadze to France, Voetbal International reported on Monday evening. The Ligue 1 club was the employer of the Ajax attacker until last summer and hopes to bring him back on loan.
Mikautadze hardly gets any playing time at Ajax and would be interested in a return. He did not figure in Maurice Steijn’s plans and he cannot count on many minutes under trainer John van ‘t Schip.
In the Eredivisie, Mikautadze had the opportunity to show his qualities from the kick-off against Fortuna Sittard and Almere City FC, but the Georgian was unable to convince in both matches.
Because he still played official matches for Metz at the start of the season, Ajax cannot sell or rent the attacker to other clubs in Europe in January.
Players may play for a maximum of two clubs per season. Metz is therefore the only option for Mikautadze in the upcoming transfer window.
Mislintat paid approximately 16 million euros for the striker last summer. Mikautadze played a total of 248 minutes.
