The arrival of FC Metz at the Yvan-Tepus stadium in Homécourt is always an event. This Tuesday, July 11, the Grenats faced Racing Luxembourg to a sold-out crowd in front of 1,500 spectators for their first recovery match. In order to liven up the meeting, the City invited the member of the group Roots Intention Crew and the usual announcer of Thionville Moselle Handball Kolia Rutili. As usual, the volunteers of the Val de l’Orne football club also greatly contributed to the success of the festivities. On the field, finally, FC Metz largely dominated Racing Luxembourg. Leading 1-0 (goal from Vagner in the 15th minute) at the break, the Grenats finally won 3-0 (goals from Sabaly, 51st, and Joseph, 76th). After the meeting, the players of the club at the cross of Lorraine lent themselves to the signing game.
