Zapping Foot National At 93, episode 1: Identity and Mentality!
Far from the cool of the Pierre Blouen stadium, the supporters of FC Martigues will give their voice. This Friday evening (7:30 p.m.), the Martégal club is indeed traveling to the SO Cholet lawn as part of the fourteenth National multiplex of the season. A meeting which could allow the Sang et Or to climb onto the podium and come within a length of second, Niort. In order to unite around the current fourth in National, the management had an idea. “We want to have moments to get together. That’s really all we can put behind the spirit and the word “Guinguette”.” Indeed, the boxes at the Francis Turcan stadium will be open to supporters to allow those who were unable to travel to follow their protégés.
“The conviviality, the simplicity, the desire to get together in a quiet way and to spend moments together. We know that we will spend moments like this which will not necessarily be around matches at Francis Turcan. There, the The idea is to have broadcasts of away matches because we know that in National, we travel a lot and far. Our supporters are a little frustrated because they can’t come.” explained Alain Nersessian during an interview given to our colleagues at Maritima-Media.
A project set to continue?
“We realized that a lot of people were gathering together to go watch the matches, especially at the end of the season when there was something at stake. We said to ourselves why not launch the idea of getting together, of creating conditions which will make people want to come,” continues the boss of the Venise Provençale club. “We hope to build people’s loyalty around the matches. There will also be players not called up, injured or suspended who will be present. There will be the opportunity to have discussions about what is happening in Cholet. We are trying to create a moment, which will be an event for away matches.”
The goal will obviously be to retain the loyalty of FCM supporters, as concluded by the president. “We hope that it will be successful and long-lasting.” The club could broadcast images of this meeting bringing together managers, volunteers, employees, supporters and players in order to create excitement for the next away matches… especially if the Martégaux were to win in Cholet.
